Obedience Obedience is a very popular discipline for all breeds of dogs. In Australia alone over 20 Large Munsterlanders have competed in Obedience, many gaining titles, three becoming full Obedience Champions. The first being Ros Kumela's Dual Ch (O) Seelenmeyer Curt ET (pictured right). Training can begin as early as you pup comes home however you can not take them to an obedience club until they have had their final vaccination. Due to their intelligent nature Munsterlanders pick up what they are taught very quickly, however they show only be trained for short encouraging sessions, as they get board as quick as they learn!!!! Information on how Obedience titles in Australia are gained can be found on the "Gaining titles" page. For information on where you can take you dog to Obedience classes ask your breeder or contact the Dog controlling body in your area. At present I am getting photo's of Munsterlanders doing Obedience, if you have any good shots please send them to me with some info in your dog.
